Football FAQ

How do I get my Den T-Shirt?
If you've ordered a Den Season Ticket, you can pick up your complimentary Den T-shirt at the following times:

  • At the first four (4) home football games (9/1, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4) for two hours prior to kick-off outside of gate C at the Rose Bowl.
  • In Bruin Plaza on Tuesday of Welcome Week (Sept 23) from 10am - 2pm
  • Outside of Pauley Pavilion, Gate 10, for 1 hour prior to tip-off at Men's Basketball regular season home games (while supplies last). Your next opportunity will be Nov 12 from 6pm-7pm. Shirt distribution will continue at each home game (for 1 hour prior to tip-off), while supplies last. Again, the shirt distribution is located outside, so if you don't have a ticket to the game, you can still pick it up! For a schedule of 08-09 Men's Basketball games, click here.

How do I check the status of my Den Season Ticket?
You will receive an e-mail in mid-August with lottery results and the status of your Den Season Ticket. You may also check your status by calling the Central Ticket Office (CTO) at (310) UCLA-WIN.

Where do I pick up my tickets?
If you are a Football Den Season Ticket holder, your tickets will be electronically placed on your Bruin card. Make sure to bring it with you to the game. Students may enter the Rose Bowl at Gate C.

Where is the Central Ticket Office (CTO)?
The CTO is located on the east side of Pauley Pavilion and makes up the west end of the West Alumni center.

Can I get tickets for friends?
UCLA students can purchase one guest ticket for each home football game (excluding USC on Dec. 6) at CTO the week prior to the game or at the Rose Bowl on game day, for a reserved ticket price, while supplies last. Guest tickets are different from student tickets and do not require a Bruin card to gain entry into the student section.

How do I get to the Rose Bowl?
Your best option would be to buy a roundtrip Rooter Bus ticket from the Central Ticket Office for only $5 (non-students $20). Rooter Bus tickets must be purchased before 4:00pm on Thursday of game week. This ticket will get you to the game and then back again. You might think they gave you two tickets by accident? They didn't. One is for the ride there, and one for the way back (Don't lose it!). Be sure to pick up the bus at the same place it dropped you off for your ride back to campus.

Where does the bus pick up?
The buses will pick you up in front of De Neve Plaza roughly 3.5 hours before game time, and drop you off in the same place after the game.

Where do I enter the Rose Bowl?
When you get to the Rose Bowl head towards the student section and gate C.

What do I need to bring?
Out of fear of sounding like your mother I am going to skip the lecture on the necessity of sun screen and a hat and head straight to the facts that you should wear blue and bring your voices, your friends, and some water. It gets hot!

Is there anything I should not bring to football games?
Don't bring your high school sweetheart that now attends USC. Don't wear a red shirt either. They WILL make you take it off.

Basketball FAQ

What's the deal with the lottery system?
Since we have such a high demand for Men's Basketball tickets, there is a lottery for students to see who will receive a ticket package. The deadline to enter the lottery was July 15, 2008 at 4pm. If you were not selected in the lottery or did not enter the lottery, there is a possibility that individual game tickets for early season games could become available on game night, if space is available. These tickets would be made available for purchase at the LA Tennis Center Box office. Please be advised that standing in line does not guarantee you a ticket to the game. The entry period for the 2009-10 lottery will begin in March 2009.

Where do I get my basketball tickets?
If you are a Men's Basketball Den Season Ticket holder, your tickets will be electronically placed on your Bruin card. Make sure to bring your Bruin card to the game and enter through Gate 10 or 15.

Can I get guest tickets to basketball games?
Not a chance

Where is the Central Ticket Office (CTO)?
The CTO is located on the east side of Pauley Pavilion and makes up the west side of the West Alumni center.

How do I get the good student seats on the floor?
You will need to wake up early on the day of the game, or for the big games, grab some friends, some lawn chairs and pitch a tent to camp out for the best seats in Pauley. They will start handing out priority numbers at 6:30 in the morning the day of the game. The first 500 (or so)people will get priority numbers. Once you get your number you can leave, but you will need to come back and line up in order of your priority number 1.5 hours before the game. This opportunity is available to Den Season Ticket holders only.

Is this a basketball?
YES THAT'S A BASKETBALL!! Don't worry? You will get it after the first game.
